The inspiration for this work comes from “Ashimashi”, a well-known bird in Persian literature who brought joy to so many. Everyday, “Ashimashi” painted her feathers in a different color so that the king would not recognize her. Then, she took king’s gemstones and gave them to the poor.

Sterling silver will tarnish over time, this can be removed with a polishing cloth for those places with a high polish. The onset of tarnish can be delayed if sterling pieces are stored in air-tight plastic bags. I include an appropriately sized block zip bag with anti-tarnish in it for each piece of jewelry.
