Born in Iran, raised in Romania and studied in the UK. This is my story and everyone knows me as a multi-cultural person and it's true! I have lived in many places and have had the chance to meet wonderful people in my 24 years of life. I had never considered myself an artsy person since a couple of years ago my passion for jewellery especially earrings made me take up jewellery making as a hobby to keep myself busy in out of work hours and that's was when I found something I really loved doing where I could express my feelings about my life and the world around me. I try to show a touch of my "multi-culturality" in the pieces I make by including western and eastern elements. I love Farsi and the name ShOOka is one of those magical names for me. ShOOka Design offers beautiful handmade accessories and jewellery. Each piece is unique and made with semi-precious gemstones, wood, felt, leather, and metal.
